Frequency & Questions
What is a FIBC / Bulk Bag / Ton Bag?
FIBC (Flexible Intermediate Bulk Container), commonly known as bulk bag/ton bag/jumbo bag, is a large-capacity industrial packaging made of polypropylene (PP), used for powder, granule and block materials, with a load capacity of 500kg–3000kg.
What material are bulk bags made of?
Mainly 100% virgin PP woven fabric, available with UV stabilization, coating (waterproof/dustproof), food-grade, conductive materials, etc.
What types of FIBCs are there?
FIBCs are classified into Type A (standard), Type B (low static), Type C (conductive, grounded), Type D (anti-static, ground-free).
What are standard sizes?
Common sizes: 90×90×90cm, 95×95×100cm, 100×100×100cm, 100×100×120cm, customizable.
How much can a bulk bag hold?
Safe Working Load (SWL): 500–3000kg, safety factor 5:1/6:1 as standard.
Difference between coated & uncoated FIBC?
Coated: waterproof, dust-proof, leak-proof; Uncoated: breathable, lower cost, suitable for granules.
What lifting loop options?
Corner loops, side loops, sleeve loops, single-point lift, stevedore straps, etc.
What discharge options?
Flat bottom, bottom spout, full open bottom, skirt discharge, valve discharge.
Can we add PE liner?
Yes, PE liner is for moisture-proof, anti-pollution and leak-proof, ideal for fine powder.
Do you offer food-grade FIBC?
Yes, produced in cleanroom, suitable for grain, flour, sugar, feed, etc.
How to choose anti-static/conductive FIBC?
For flammable powder, choose Type C (grounded) or Type D (ground-free).
Safety instructions for use?
No overloading, even loading, lift by certified loops only, keep away from sharp objects, avoid long-term sun exposure.
How long is the shelf life?
Indoor storage: 1–3 years; outdoor UV shortens life, UV-stabilized type recommended.
Common causes of breakage/leakage?
Overloading, sharp edges, dragging, UV aging, thin fabric, uneven loading.
Are FIBCs recyclable/reusable?
Clean & undamaged bags can be reused; PP is recyclable; contaminated bags disposed as hazardous waste.
